Tania McFall

Tania McFall - Tania had a successful Gymnastics career competing for Hawke's Bay Poverty Bay at a national level. Tania enjoys managing and implementing projects for BIGAIR®. Tania has the following qualifications:

Rachelle Spence

Rachelle Spence - Rachelle joins BIGAIR® from Teamwear New Zealand.  Rachelle has excellent communication and organisational skills and will gladly assist you with any concerns or questions you might have.  Rachelle will be in the office Tuesday to Saturday and looks forward to working in our dynamic team.

Abe Pita -Abe has an extensive sporting background and is a key Bigair Gymsports™ team member, who has made a significant contribution to the success of the facility (here at Bigair Gymsports™ we call Abe the Pied Piper).  Abe understands what it takes to deliver value and a great experience.  Abe has a Black Belt in Mu Ha Kan Karate (Black Belt Instructor); has been a personal trainer in Wellington (trained the NZ Underwater Hockey Team -Gold in 2004) and Abe has been the recipient of the Coaches Count Award.  Abe has the following qualifications:

aileen berryman

Aileen Berryman - Aileen is a Gymnastics professional with a career spanning over 29 years.  Aileen has coached Recreational, Display, Trampoline and Competitive Gymnastics (men's and women's) achieving excellent results.  Aileen has been awarded four national coaching medals for her gymnasts' performances at New Zealand National Championships.  Aileen has been heavily involved with the Wellington Gymnastics Association Inc for the last 10 years and was the Manager Wellington Nationals Team in 2006.  Aileen has the following qualifications:

 Vili

Vilmos Koszegi  - Vili joins Bigair® from Budapest in Hungary.  Vili has been heavily involved sport for over 30 years – a qualified physical education teacher with Gymnastics Certification (Hungary).

About Vili – Reference from the Hungarian Gymnastics Federation - Vili was a professional gymnast in Hungary between 1960 and 1980 at D’osa Sports Club in Ujpest.  After winning the beginner, youth and junior national individual championship, his promising career was cut short due to a serious shoulder injury.  Vili worked as a gymnastics coach during the 80’s – his trainees – Anett Marton, Erika Barna, Zsuzsanna Abraham, Krisztina Molnar – initially junior national champions, become national representatives and later competed at the Olympics for Hungary.  Krisztina Molnar was a member of the Hungarian team placed sixth at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona.

  • Diploma in Physical Education (Hungary)
  • Reference from the Hungarian Gymnastics Federation

 Daniel McCall

Daniel McCall - Daniel joins Bigair® from Hawera in Taranaki.  Daniel has a background in sound & lighting and happened across his new found career over an argument about the credibility of Cheerleading.  Daniel and his business partner established and competed for his club during 2007 & 2008.  Daniel is all about high energy and is focused on developing cheerleading as a sport here in Wellington.   Daniel has the following qualifications:

  • All Star Cheerleader – Hawera 2007-2008
  • Coach (Choreography) – 2008 – Auckland
  • Bigair® - Coach in Training Programme
  • Current First Aid Certification

Lee Tamatea

Lee Tamatea – Lee is a student at Aotea College and was a competitive Level 5 Gymnasts.  Lee has been taken under the wing of Bigair’s® senior coaches and is recognised as an up and coming coaching talent.  Lee wishes to have a career in the sports industry.  Lee has the following qualifications:

  • Bigair® - Coach in Training Programme
  • MAG Level 1 Judge
  • Starting out in Coaching - Level 1 (Gymsports New Zealand)
  • Current First Aid Certification

 Paula Simoes

Paula Simoes - Paula has a strong Gymnastic and Physical Education Background, competing in Brazil for 11 years.  Paula has excellent choreograpy skills and has a firm but friendly coaching style.  Paula has the following qualifications:

  • Degree in Physical Education
  • Has been coaching Gymnastics since 2006
  • Gymnast for 11 years (1989-2000) - Brazil
  • Founder of Mackenzie Acrobatic Gymnastics Group 2005
  • WAG Judge - Brazil

jemma hutchinson

Jemma Hutchinson - Jemma is student at Newland College and was a senior Wellington Gymnast who competed at a National Level.  Jemma has the following qualifications:

  • GymSports New Zealand - Currently attending CIT (Coaches in training) - CEP Level 1
  • Current First Aid Certification

Vicky Natta

Vicky Natta - Vicky has been coaching at Bigair Gymsports™ had a successful gymnastics career competing in the Australian levels system. Vicky spent 2009 recovering from a car accident and we are so happy to have her back in the gym!  Vicky is currently completing an apprenticeship to become a qualified Baker. Vicky has the following qualifications:

  • GymSports New Zealand - Coach Education Programme (CEP) Level 0
  • Gymsports New Zealand - Playgym Education Course
  • Current First Aid Certification

Daniel Fawthorpe

Daniel Fathorpe - Daniel is a student at Newlands College in Wellington and competes for Bigair Reign (Cheersports).  Daniel is working to develop his coaching skills and would like to persue a career in the fitness industry.

Troy Van Saarloos

Troy Van Saarloos  - Troy was a Wellington gymnast who competed at a National Level. Troy is kindly assisting with our competitive boys (Men's Artistic Gymnastics).
